This letter is long overdue, but an absolute must for me. It is because of your prosthodontic work (and Vic's)that I have such a fine set of permanent upper teeth from the implants that Dr. Smiler put in. As you know, my case was probably the most difficult that you and Dr. Smiler ever had to work on because of the botched jobs done by other "implant specialists". What you did was a masterpiece, a "work of art"...no one even knows that I have implanted teeth in my upper jaw! I show everyone my upper teeth, but even then no one can tell.

Until I finally came to you for the implant prosthodontic part of the difficult oral implant procedures of Dr. Smiler (i.e., the UCLA's terrible work, when they claim to be the experts in the field etc.), it appeared certain that my career in my profession was essentially over and that early retirement was the only alternative. As you know, I simply could not wear a denture! All the so called "experts", made matters worse... and I always ended up with some form of a denture that was worse than before. Your meticulous, work, your precision and time, your patience and knowledge, and, most of all, your unquestionable expertise and competency made my previous nightmare a new positive reality. I not only did not have to wear a denture, but you made for me a precision set of full upper teeth that fit perfectly, look magnificent, feel comfortable, and function as normal teeth. You and Dr. Smiler saved me from early retirement and saved my career. As a psychologist, I can say that your dentistry goes beyond mere cosmetics to a precise science. How can I thank you? The best way that I can do that is precisely what I am doing: getting on with living my personal and professional life and showing anyone and everyone my set of new permanent teeth. This July it will be 2 years since you put them in. It took 5 years of wasting valuable time and thousands of dollars with others on teeth that were eventually useless.

Dr. Weiss, you and Dr. Smiler know more than all of UCLA and other implant specialists put together. How do I know? I've tried them all before. Thank you for your abundant care and knowledge.

How does one say thank you for a miracle? What words should be spoken to tell you how nice it feels to smile- how wonderfully sweet it is to bite into an apple- how much a feeling of security means?

You're the professional miracle worker responsible for me feeling all the above and more. It was a long, tedious procedure and there were times I wondered if it was going to be worth it. The sinus lift (not performed by you) was difficult for me and I was ready to throw in the towel, but you were there with encouragement and support to get me through the worst of times.

You recommended Dr. Smiler to perform the surgery and, although it was certainly not pleasant, it was wonderful having you there beside me. How many dentists go that far? Not many, I'm sure.

After the healing time you and I (and let's not forget Vic) began the restoration process. Never did I imagine it would be so exacting or that you would spend so many hours bent over me in order ot have such perfect end results. Your understanding when I was tired, the times you bent to my schedule, the knowledge that I could turn to you with any queions or worries is priceless.

I now have wonderfully strong, beautiful teeth and I am fully aware that it couldn't have been accomplished without you. You have given me back teeth stronger than the originals. Everything is perfect because of you. You are a perfectionist and, even though sometimes during the process I wished you weren't now I am so very grateful that you are.

I am looking forward to at least 50 years of apples, corn on the cob, full smiles and good checkups with you. Thank, Dr. Miracle Worker, for everything you've done for me. You're a very special human being and a terrific, fantastic, perfect, wonderful dentist. I'll never be able to thank you sifficiently, but I'll keep trying.

Over a period of about 15 years I had been suffering from ill-fitted and troublesome dentures. About 2 years ago I attended a seminar on dental implants and became very interested.
